The first round of the 2023 NFL Draft has concluded, with the Carolina Panthers making the opening selection and choosing Alabama quarterback Bryce Young as the No. 1 overall pick. Young, the 2021 Heisman Trophy winner, will be joining a rebuilding team led by first-year head coach Frank Reich, formerly of the Indianapolis Colts.
The Houston Texans also addressed their quarterback needs early on, drafting Ohio State's C.J. Stroud with the No. 2 pick, before making a trade to move up to No. 3 and select Alabama EDGE rusher Will Anderson Jr.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears opted to trade their No. 9 pick to Philadelphia, but still managed to secure Offensive Tackle Darnell Wright from Tennessee with the No. 10 pick. Two rounds of the draft are yet to come, with plenty of talent still available for teams to choose from.
